Customs

€10,000 or more in cash (any currency, per person) must be declared in writing when you enter or leave the EU — use the red lane.

Keep medicines in their original pharmacy box with the prescription or a doctor's letter in English. Bring only what you need for the trip. For strong painkillers, sleeping pills or ADHD medicine, check this country's rules before you travel.

Antiquities

Taking antiquities out of Greece without a permit is a crime. Do not pick up stones or fragments at archaeological sites.
